Touch typing is a great skill to have when working at a computer with a keyboard. In St. Brigid's we develop this skill in our computer class from Senior Infants up to 6th. We use fun and motivational websites to teach us how to type by touch. Some of the children are typing alot more words per minute through this approach. We had great fun making wordclouds using tagxedo.com using Irish vocabulary in different topics i.e. School, Sports, clothes and food.
